A Message from Kent Forman

I don’t normally editorialize, preferring to let our products and services speak for themselves. However, as we are all facing unprecedented disruption in virtually every aspect of our lives, I thought I would inform you about some of the precautions we are taking at Forman Honda, Forman Mazda and Forman Collision to keep our customers and staff safe, while still providing what we consider to be an “essential service”. 

While circumstances seem to be changing daily, as I write this we have made the decision to keep both our service and sales departments open so we can continue to service and maintain vehicles - thus keeping our customers’ vehicles safe and operational - but also so that we are available to answer questions regarding long-term decisions of vehicle ownership.  

Of course we are taking the need to social-distance very seriously.  In addition to increasing the frequency and intensity of cleaning and disinfecting our work surfaces, we have increased the distance between workstations, and limited the number of people in certain areas of the dealerships.  We are disinfecting keys and wiping down vehicles before and after they are worked on.  Staff returning from holidays have self-isolated for two weeks.  Staff on site are washing hands frequently and all have easy access to hand sanitizer.  And of course, hand-shaking was eliminated weeks ago.

Perhaps the biggest change we have made is that we are picking up and delivering vehicles for service and body shop appointments, and we are offering an easy, secure on-line payment option.  So if you prefer to stay in the comfort of your own home, you can still keep up with your vehicle maintenance and get any needed repairs or recalls completed.  And for those who would like to change their current vehicle – perhaps the current one is not suitable, or they would like to lock in a lower interest rate – we can also have someone from our sales team bring a vehicle to you.  Please understand that some geographical  limits will apply to both sales and service pick-ups. If you are a high-risk individual with respect to the Covid-19 coronavirus, I would strongly encourage you to stay at home, eat well, sleep well, and wait for further developments.  But to everyone else, I would like to assure you that, should you need our services, we are here for you.
